In 1997 a new ministry of providing lunches fo distribution to the hungry in Central Falls was established with direction from the Diocese of Providence.

Initialy, 150 lunches were prepared by volunteers at Saint Anthony Church on the second and fourth Sundays of the month and transported with donated pastries and bread to the parking lot of the Project Hope Office. Over the years the number of prepared lunches has increased to 250 to additional locations in Central Falls and also at a family shelter in Providence.

Food is prepared, transported and distributed on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
