THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

In Mary we see that humility is not a virtue of the weak but of the strong who don’t have to treat others badly to feel important.

PRESENTATION FLEA MARKET REPORT

Last week’s event in the Church Hall brought in a net profit of $3,067. We want to thank Susan Crocenzi for organizing the project. She was assisted by Robin Carney, Maryann Pallotta and Maryann Dempsey. Susan, a Saint Anthony Parishioner, grew up and was married in the Church of the Presentation which she attended until she moved to another part of town. This year the physical set-up was different in that all the glassware was washed and every donated item was priced and arranged according to category. This extra effort which took many hours accounted for the higher profit. We are also grateful for the cooperation of volunteers from Saint Anthony and Presentation Parishes during the weekend event. The proceeds will be applied to the cost of rebuilding the closed off portion of the front stairs of the church which will begin in October.
